The end of another year and my first term completed at Weston College (Bath spa University).

I am in a class of eight and a wonderful cross section of ages and personalities they are, we certainly have a laugh.

We have been learning Philosophy and touching on drawing, ceramics, printing and many more tasters of things to come. Our class has also been commissioned to provide Art for the office and meeting rooms of Bristol Council Children and Family Services situated at The Welsman Building,St Pauls. Bristol. We are learning how to write proposals and tackle “PowerPoint” presentations! It may not seem much, but learning the “how” has been enlightening and at times exhausting.

I am so lucky to have this opportunity and I am loving the challenge.

The Clevedon Art Club exhibitions went very well and lots of Artwork sold which was amazing.

Our summer exhibition at the West Barn in Bradford on Avon was busy, we are now finding it difficult with no Wi Fi/phone signal in the barn selling with out a card payment facility. Do any of us carry cash these days?

Our new puppy Spam is now huge but a gentle giant, in training!

My last piece of news and my claim to fame, my Digital Art relating to cacti was published in the Cacti World Magazine, which I believe is worldwide. Who would have thought!

I must Blog as part of my course and this can be found on my “Art 4 You Facebook page” linked to this website.
